Caridad “Cary” Valdes, APRN, FNP-C, is a Miami native with over 17 years of experience in dermatology. She began her career as a medical assistant and spent many years at Khouri Dermatology, where she developed extensive experience in general, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Miami Regional University.

As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology, Cary provides comprehensive care for a variety of skin conditions, including general dermatologic concerns, cosmetic treatments, and the evaluation and management of skin cancers. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is passionate about creating a comfortable, compassionate environment where patients feel heard and confident in their care.

Outside of the office, Cary enjoys spending time with her two children, traveling, and making memories with her family. She is dedicated to serving the South Florida community by combining her years of dermatology experience with a personalized approach to patient care.
